Facebook – an important gateway to contacts, students, and industry. Twitter – I was using quite a bit last year, but really only lurk lately. Peers/colleagues – Have wide network from my work history  before teaching. I need to incorporate those contacts.
Email – currently the most efficient method of documented communication. Problematic for younger students. PAC members – Trying to form better connections with our Program Advisory Committee members. True Endeavors – Largest Madison promoter. Need to co-sponsor shows with them.
Moodle – the learning management system used to create communities, deliver content and organize curriculum. Graduates of EMB program – We only have two semesters of grads yet. Trying to maintain alumni community. WAMI – Need to cultivate a relationship with Wisconsin Area Music Industry organization in Madison.
Skype – the video conferencing system of choice. Currently used for faculty meetings, guest speakers and synchronous delivery. NARAS – National Association of Recording Arts and Sciences.  Grammy organization. Ben a member since ‘80s. Trying to connect students with the organization. MAMI - Need to cultivate a relationship with Milwaukee Area Music Industry organization in Milwaukee.
Faculty – all industry professionals with valuable network connections.·         Mike Bailey

·         Martin Atkins

·         Sue Schrader

·         Mark Irving

Jing – Need to utilize this program more. Extremely useful but haven’t fully incorporated it into my tool set. MATC – Milwaukee Area Technical College provides an excellent portal into our degree program. We need to develop awareness.
Join.me.com  - a free desktop sharing program. Transparent and easy. Use for synchronous sessions. Intern & Work Study Opportunities – One of departmental goals is for every enrolled student to participate in work study or an internship before they graduate.  As the department grows so does the need for more opportunities. Local High Schools – We have developed a relationship with one local charter school, providing assistance and consulting in audio and recording programs. We’d like to do more.
PowerPoint – Still the most effective slide show option. Stout Connections – I hope to develop some networking contacts through my classes at Stout (enrolled in CTE masters program).
Google.sites – quick and easy web site creation.
Diigo – very useful bookmarking system. Creates custom lists of sites with highlighting and comments across multiple platforms.
